The mission of Thirsties Inc is to make it easy and affordable for every family to choose cloth while simultaneously investing in our local economy and sustainable business practices.

We are committed to building our business in a sustainable manner by focusing on the health of our babies and the environment. Only the best, USA-sourced components are chosen for our products in order to reduce our carbon footprint, to help support domestic textile mills and our local economy, and to ensure that Thirsties diapers will last wash after wash. We are committed to creating the highest quality products to yield unparalleled performance and dedicated to provide excellent customer service to support your cloth diapering experience.

We are very proud that all Thirsties products are manufactured solely in Colorado, USA, by a group of very talented individuals, many of whom are moms who work in the comfort and convenience of their own homes. With your support, we are able to employ more staff each year, helping to support more families in our local community.

We feel fortunate to be involved in such a wonderful industry. We delight in the opportunity to sell products that contribute to a happy and healthy start for your children while helping to minimize your baby’s first carbon footprints. If ever you have any suggestions on how to improve our products or the way in which we operate our business, we’d love to hear from you!

A Note From the Founder + Owner...

When I first founded Thirsties, I was a young and energetic mother with only 27 years of life behind me. Without divulging too much about the passage of time, let's just say that now I find myself closer to the prospect of cloth diapering potential future grandbabies than to diapering my own children!

As is often the case in a mother's life, things became incredibly busy, and I was presented with the opportunity to entrust the business to the Merrill Family. Over the course of 14 years, the Merrills haven't just built a brand; they've contributed to the growth of US industry and continued our mission of creating numerous jobs right here in Colorado. They've spearheaded an industry founded on the principles of a greener future, making it not only accessible but also enjoyable and stylish. Most importantly, the Merrill Family has been there for you, supporting you through the journey of cloth diapering and beyond. They've been a part of your village and your family.

Now in 2024, semi-retirement beckoned for the Merrills, and they've passed the reins back to me. My commitment to you is that, despite the very steep re-learning curve ahead and the very large shoes I am striving to fill, I will work tirelessly to uphold the esteemed legacy that is Thirsties. I aim to continue earning your valued partnership as we collectively strive for a more fashionable and sustainable future.

Truly yours,
Erin Kimmett
