Pocket diapers can be pre-stuffed a batch ahead of time.

Absolutely! While the natural fibers in Thirsties absorb just as fast as synthetics like microfiber terry, they hold onto that moisture far better under pressure. Microfiber is prone to 'compression leaks' when squished—like in a car seat, baby carrier, or while sitting—making natural fibers a much more reliable choice to keep leaks at bay.

We have options to fit every stage of your baby's growth. Choose our Newborn All-in-One for those early weeks, or transition to a One Size diaper that fits from 8 lbs all the way to 40 lbs. Our Duo sizing system covers birth to potty training using Size 1 (up to ~9 months) and Size 2 (for the remaining diapering months). We also offer Diaper Covers with non-adjustable rises—a popular pairing with flat or prefold diapers, typically requiring four sizes from birth to potty training.

You can stuff a One Size Pocket Diaper with two or more inserts, or pair a Duo Fitted diaper with an Organic Cotton Doubler and a Duo Wrap. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, combining a Duo Hemp Prefold with a Duo Wrap works great for overnight use.
