If we had to use just one word to describe our Natural One Size Pocket Diapers, it would be VERSATILE: The rise of the Natural One Size Pocket Diaper is adjustable, the leg gussets adapt to movement as well as legs both thin and thick, and the absorbency can be easily amended for overnight or extended wear.
Pocket Diapers are a two-step system. Before you can wrap and secure a pocket diaper on your baby, the first step is to add -- or ‘stuff’ – the pocket with the absorbency -- or insert. Many families choose to stuff their diapers as the final step in their laundry routine, so they are ready to go.
Our Natural One Size Pocket diaper features a unique ‘sleeve’ pocket which has an opening for stuffing at both ends. There are two main advantages of a ‘sleeve’ pocket. 1) You’ll find that it is much easier to stuff and straighten your inserts with two access points – a time saver and 2) no need to pull soiled inserts out of the diaper before tossing them in the wash. They agitate out on their own.
One final stand-out feature of our Pocket Diaper compared to others on the market is our signature leg gussets. Our leg gussets are very gentle against your baby's skin yet they stay snug against baby’s legs so gaps are rare, even when baby is moving and grooving.
The newborn insert that comes with your Natural One Size Pocket diaper is made from organic cotton and the full size insert is comprised of hemp and organic cotton jersey. They can be used independently for a trimmer fit or together for extra absorbency.
Some families only want natural fibers against baby’s delicate skin, so we introduced the Natural version of our One Size Pocket Diaper which replaces the stay dry layer of our regular Pocket Diaper with a layer of soft and stretchy 100% cotton interlock.
The outside layer of our Natural One Size Pocket Diaper is made from joyfully colored and patterned waterproof fabric.
The Natural One Size All in One is offered with either snap closures or hook and loop. This is yet one more way that this versatile diaper offers you choice. If you want quick and easy changes and a more customized fit, go for hook and loop. However, if you prefer a more pliable and comfortable fit for your baby, snap closures are the way to go. While snaps may take a little longer to secure, they are also more challenging for curious toddlers to open. More families opt for snaps, but ultimately the decision is yours!
For the best fit, we recommend waiting until your little one reaches at least 8lbs before using our one-size diapers. Some families choose to use our Newborn All in Ones for the first few weeks before switching to one-size diapers.
