I love
blogging. I love writing about my experiences with my kids, sharing ideas and tips, and getting feedback and hearing the opinions of the readers who leave comments. For the most part, I try to keep my blogs upbeat and positive, even while discussing something challenging--like
a hospital stay with a sick child or the
never-ending cycle called housework. But just for fun, here are a few examples of blogs I might write, followed by what I might really be thinking:

Sometimes I wish I could actually read some of the alternative blogs! Parenting isn’t as easy as a checklist or joyfull as some bloggers make it out to be.
I try to keep things real on my personal blog, at least to some extent. I feel like it would be dishonest to only post perfect pictures and talk about how blissful my life is, and for me it’s therapeutic to write when things are rough and know that a few people will read it. I do try to also write positive posts, though.
Ha, that’s so cute. I’m scared of having to do little girl hair. Seriously terrified.
